Flavor Hills Rundown

Fried Catfish

Flavor Hills has rapidly established itself as a culinary favorite among residents, recognized for its commitment to quality, flavorful dishes, and attentive hospitality. Diners consistently praise the restaurant for its inventive take on Southern classics, such as the seasoned grits topped with crispy fried catfish and collard greens, described as "delish". Beyond the main courses, the establishment receives high marks for its desserts, notably the berry bourbon eggnog glazed bread pudding, which is noted for its beautiful presentation, featuring flowers atop the dish.

FOOD QUALITY & PARKING

Deep Dive

While the food quality and variety score exceptionally high, there are two common points of friction for locals that can be easily managed with preparation.

First, some patrons have observed that portion sizes may be smaller than anticipated, suggesting that this is a destination meant for a multi-course culinary experience rather than a large, single-plate meal.

Second, parking presents a challenge, as metered parking is required in the immediate vicinity, making securing a spot difficult during peak dining times.

I would advise that the locals plan their visit during non-peak hours, such as a late lunch or an early dinner. This is really just to make sure you get a good spot. Timing is everything.

Don’t miss out on this place though, it’s an opportunity to savor the full menu, including the highly recommended appetizers and desserts, maximizing the experience of this must-visit destination.

Is it a Must Go?

We usually avoid posting any place that would be a Pass. However, I like to make sure we don’t just look for the positives and I made certain to mention the negatives but even with the negatives, the food is a Must Go and if you can get around the parking issue, then you’re have an excellent experience.
